Sharing the continuous changes of my body and some I didn’t even expect to see.
I’m getting that pregnancy line (the linea nigra)
And it forms from melanin hormones that cause this darkened line that extends from the pubic bone up to the navel and sometimes it extends higher up. Apparently this line has always been there! But it has been almost invisible until the hormones were stimulated during pregnancy.
All of the unique things the body does to indicate change. Maybe you’ve noticed this on pregnant women before and wondered why it happens. Now you know!
